Help us plant one million trees

Plant trees in your own name, or as a gift for someone you love.

Students plant saplings, August 2026

Why this campaign matters

A greener village is part of how we answer the cycle of floods and poverty in north Bihar, where floods cut off work for three to four months every year. We plant on degraded village land, school grounds and roadsides, and give families fruit trees for their homesteads that add to what they can grow and eat.

How your donation helps

Your gift pays to plant a sapling and to care for it through its first year, when young trees are most at risk. Every sapling is adopted by a family or by students, who water and protect it through its first dry season. We have planted and cared for 30,000 saplings, and planted 1,100 more with local youth and elders.

How it works

  1. 1 Choose how many trees you want to plant.
  2. 2 Plant them in your own name, or dedicate them to someone for a birthday, an anniversary or a friendship.
  3. 3 We plant with village families and schools, who adopt and care for each sapling through its first year.
  4. 4 You receive a certificate and the location of your trees.

“One million trees for the villages of Bihar.”

Every donor receives a certificate and the location of their trees.
