MESKP has worked in the villages of Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur since 1984. We run our programmes ourselves, with our own staff and volunteers, so your company's money reaches the children and families it is meant for.

Keep children in school by covering fees, uniforms, books and stationery, support free classes at our Kathalia campus and train teachers in government and community schools.

Free health and dental camps in villages, with check-ups, medicines and referrals, and sessions on hygiene, nutrition and sanitation.
Savings, skills and confidence for women
Self-help groups of about 12 women who save together and reach bank credit and government schemes, with training in tailoring, livestock and small trade.
Skills that earn close to home
Computer, office and tailoring courses at our Computer Vocational Training Centre in Darbhanga, so young people and women can earn close to home.
One million trees for Bihar
Saplings planted on village land, school grounds and homesteads, each adopted by a family or by students who care for it through its first dry season.

Village roads, hand pumps and sanitation, built with the communities that use them, alongside flood relief when it is needed.

How a partnership works, from first call to final report.
We start with a conversation: tell us your CSR focus, budget and preferred locations, and we suggest a programme.
We then send a project proposal with budget, timeline and outcomes, together with our registration certificates and audited accounts. Once you approve it, we sign an agreement and start work.
Through the year we send progress reports with photos. At the end you receive a utilisation certificate and the impact figures for your CSR report.

Yes. We agree the programme, the villages, the budget and the outcomes with you before work starts.
No. Under the Income Tax Act, money spent as CSR cannot also be claimed under Section 80G. We send a receipt and a utilisation certificate for your CSR records.
Yes. Employees can give online with an 80G receipt, or through employee-giving and company-match programmes run by Online Giving Foundation and UK Giving Foundation. Teams can also volunteer at our Kathalia campus and in the villages.
