On Sunday 2 August 2026, as part of our One Million Trees campaign, MESKP held a plantation programme at Singhwara police station. About 50 fruit and shade saplings, including mango and litchi, were planted.
MESKP members and police officers planted the saplings together and asked people to plant more trees and to look after them. Speakers said that with rising pollution and shrinking green cover, planting trees has never mattered more.
MESKP secretary Shamim Ahmed said the Parishad will keep running awareness drives. Station House Officer Basant Kumar urged everyone to protect the saplings as they grow.
